Finally! We are back at it after a long hiatus and the group could not be more excited.  There is lots of exciting new news to share and many amazing things are happening that we cannot wait to tell you about.

A NEW FACE

First of all, if you follow 7th Element on social media or have seen us live recently, you may have noticed that a familiar face is gone and a new one has taken its place.  Yes, our long-time bass singer and good friend Mark "Dee" Glover has decided to move on to pursue other opportunities.  From the bottom of our hearts, we want to thank Dee for sharing his gifts with the group and with our devoted fans.  We wish Dee and his family God's blessings and he will always be part of the 7E brotherhood.  As you already know, Dee is a talented vocalist and great bass singers like him are hard to come by, so we knew that replacing him would not be easy.  Thankfully, after an extensive search God sent just the man for 7E's new era.  More on him in his section.

A NEW STUDIO

A long-time dream of the group was to have a fully-equipped studio which would allow us to efficiently record new music.  Well, our dream is now a reality and for the past year we have been hard at work putting the gear to good use.

A WHOLE LOT OF NEW MUSIC

We are working on a brand-new sacred hymns project filled with some of the most beautiful and elegant music the group has ever recorded.   At this writing, we will have released the first single from this project.  If you would like to be among the first to hear this song along with other brand new and unreleased 7E music, be sure to become an 7E Insider below to get on our "all-access" list.

Meet Our New Bass Vocalist

Dean_head_shots.jpg

We'd like to introduce you to our new bass singer Dean Dennis.  Dean is a highly experienced bass vocalist who is no stranger to a cappella music. Many a cappella music fans will remember him as the bass vocalist of Connect 5.
Dean is a native of New York City.

As it turns out, his father taught the Greene brothers in grade school way, way back in the day!  If you ever see the group in person, ask us about it, there are quite a few great stories there.

Dean is a graduate of the world-renowned Oakwood University which is known for producing many of the world's finest vocalist. He was known as the go-to bass singer of his era.  Dean's music experiences include extensive touring, television, radio and session work providing quality bass vocals for various recording artists.

Some of Dean's musical influences include, Take 6, A Special Blend, The Breath of Life Quartet, The Winans, Commissioned, Wayman Tisdale, Jonathan Butler, Quincy Jones, Richard Smallwood and Andre Crouch to name a few.

Dean is happily married. Together, he and his wife, Alecia, have been blessed with three young children (who are also budding songwriters, pianists and vocalists in their own right).  Both Dean and his family split their time between Northern California and Southern Florida, the two places they consider home.

When not singing, Dean can be found managing the operations of the Skarlet Beverage Company which he and Alecia founded.   In his spare time, he enjoys spending long hours talking with his wife, traveling with his family, detailing cars, hiking, art and music.
We are excited to have Dean aboard.  Please join us in welcoming him to the 7th Element brotherhood.
